Jean Deiana grew up in a tile factory and his passion began there. He started as an apprentice and then followed a professional training from 1973 until 1982 at "Vernin Carreaux d'Apt".

He learned everything about the tile, from the handmade terracotta tile to the semi-mechanical one. This experience led him to become a trainer and the head of a new team.

The workshop

Enthusiastic and passionate, Jean settled down in 1982 and created Les Terres Cuites du Luberon, starting with the handmade tile and building his own wood-fired kiln.

The arrival of Patricia Deiana brought a real advantage to the company. Her talent for drawing and her sense of creativity make any paint-brush decoration possible.

Today

The company offers many products in enamelled or natural terracotta. Production is entirely handmade, which allows fully customised projects. The raw material is natural (regional clay) and each tile is unique.

At a time of mass industrialisation and globalisation, this is a strong argument for anyone who wants to stand out and values the quality and exclusivity of a premium product from the Luberon, and more precisely from the Apt area.
